There are many reasons to make a teacher missed your class. "According to the survey, 30% of Brazilian students are in schools where lack of teachers affects learning."
Some reasons are: maternity license (a period that the women just who had a baby), sick leaves for studies, days affluent and the most common is medical certificates. After that, some researches show that devalues the profession and as if the miss were a exchange paid into the low wage.
The picture below, can show the percentage of students that studying in schools where teacher 'absenteeism' does not hinder learning. Which shows a contradiction against Brazil.
